Product Sourcing

Rather than trying to push products into your business that you don’t need we are focused on finding suppliers for your existing products and new products that are core to your business.

Quality control

As ongoing quality control is a key factor we are able to assure that the supplier maintains the quality levels that you require. We are able to manage a process whereby sample(s) are produced then on acceptance produce ever large quantities until you feel secure the supplier is capable.

Freight consolidation

We are able to either utilise our freight contacts and consolidation hub or liaise with your nominated freight company to ensure that you achieve the lowest shipping costs and your goods turn up where they should and on time.

Supplier Due Diligence

Prior to engaging a supplier its emparative to perform due diligence. As we have an Chinese speaking staff based in our Qingdao office we can ensure their business registrations are in order, communicate in local language, confirm supplier has required capacity, visit their premises to ensure they have a viable operation.

Projects We Have Completed

  • Joysticks & Controllers

    Similar to a number of other projects we have undertaken a customer was concerned about their supply of controllers and joysticks.  They contacted us to see if we could source an alternate supplier for them.

    We naturally informed them that we would be happy to help and they were happy with our tried and tested procedure of scoping out the project ensuring that all the technical, safety and commercial requirements would be met.

    Once samples were supplied and approved production went ahead.

  • Latches & Catches

    On this project we worked with a company that believed there was an opportunity to supply latches & catches into various aftermarket industries.

    For this project we were required to develop the necessary tooling required in order to manufacture the goods.  Prior the client giving the go ahead we ensured that were presented with a costing budget together with a item cost of each component.   This allowed them to make a fully informed decision on going ahead.

    As the items come from a number of seperate suppliers we assisted the customer in reducing freight costs by consolidating the goods in Qingdao and shipping as bulk.

  • LED Beacons

    A company was retailing a range of Xenon beacons and were receiving and ever increasing demand for LED type beacons.  Concerned that they may be missing a new market they contacted us to see if we could help.

    As they had no in-house engineering and were not exactly sure of the specifications required, HVSS located a number of potential suppliers in China, gathered information on the technical requirements then presented the client with a number of samples.

    After a short trial the client approved the sample and we were able to supply the qualities required which in this case included their own branding.

  • Mini Excavator Buckets

    We were contacted by a company wishing for us to source a range of mini excavator buckets.

    They were a dealer for a range of mini excavators and believed that if they could find a reliable source of buckets they could broaden there product offering.

    After supplying detailed drawings we were able to find a supplier, and supply a quotation and supply samples.

  • Electrical Components

    A number of our clients quickly realised that the majority of electrical components that are distributed throughout the world are currently manufactured throughout China.

    So separately they resented us with a wish list for us to source and supply.  Through our network and team on the ground we were able to locate the majority of the items and provide a quotation for supply.

  • Smart Battery Charger

    Designed for the rigours of the Aerial Work platform rental market this 750 watt / 30 Amp charger can arguable be described as one of the industry’s smartest chargers.

    By utilising the conveniently located USB port the charging curve can be changed to suite a specific battery brand. This allows for optimum charging and also extends battery life.

    The same USB port can be used to download a report that can be read on a PC with useful information that includes, the current installed charging profile, charging start & finish times, starting & ending voltages and any events e.g. batteries fully charged or power interruptions etc.

    After discussions with rental companies a major requirement was for the charger to be waterproof, we have achieved this by making the unit rated to IP67
